Elementary (K-5) Resource Teacher (Full Time)

Position Summary

The Resource Teacher supports elementary students with diverse learning needs by employing targeted achievement interventions & research-based teaching strategies.

The Resource Teacher also provides support to teachers, parents and school administrators when addressing student learning challenges. The Resource Teacher is a critical member of school student case conferences. The Resource Teacher provides insights and recommendations to guide school personnel in helping students to succeed.

This role ensures that academic support services are coordinated, mission-aligned, and responsive to student achievement data. The Resource Teacher works directly with students while partnering with classroom teachers to implement effective differentiation strategies. Must have working knowledge of data to guide practice.

The Resource Teacher reports to the K-12 Principal.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Training in teaching, elementary with expertise reading, writing & math
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and families

Join Our Summer Team (Seasonal)

Are you a fun loving, Christ centered leader ready to make an impact this summer?

We’re seeking responsible, energetic, and faith filled Christian adults to join our Summer Fun Team! As a Summer Fun Leader, you’ll play a key role in creating unforgettable experiences for our students in a vibrant, Christ centered environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assisting the Summer Fun Director with planning and leading engaging activities
  • Supervising students with care, patience, and enthusiasm
  • Actively participating in games, events, and faith-based fun
  • Encouraging and inspiring students to grow in confidence, character, and community

Office Assistant (Part-Time)

Are you a committed Christian with a heart to serve? Christian Academy is looking for someone who enjoys helping students and staff—and who is organized, efficient, and able to manage daily office tasks. If you have a passion for creating a warm, Christ-centered environment and are skilled with paperwork, scheduling, and communication, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly, relational, and professional
  • Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Quick to learn and eager to grow
  • Grounded in Christian faith and values

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as front desk receptionist and phone liaison
  • Track student attendance and staff absences
  • Manage payments, communication, and office supplies
  • Coordinate lunch orders, staff birthdays, timesheets, and more
  • Assist with school events, student registration, and classroom needs

After-School Aide

Are you passionate about impacting the next generation for Christ?
We’re looking for spiritually mature Christians who love children and want to help in our after-school care program (K-8th grade)-supervising students, assisting with homework, and creating a Christ-centered, nurturing environment.

Substitute Teachers – As Needed

We are seeking qualified Christian substitute teachers for all grade levels (Preschool, Elementary School, Middle School, and High School). Minimum Bachelor’s degree required.


Coaches (Volunteer)

If you are looking for an opportunity to utilize your skills and talents and grow in your profession, while serving and strengthening our Scholastic and Athletic community, we would love to have you join our ohana! Christian Academy’s Athletics program is seeking coaches in basketball and volleyball. This is a Temporary, Seasonal position with work dates from throughout the year.
